Terms of Service

Budqo is a personal budgeting tool that helps you log income, plan spending through envelopes, track transactions, set savings goals, and work toward debt payoff.

Budqo is not a bank, financial institution, investment advisor, or licensed financial planner. Nothing in the service constitutes financial, investment, legal, or tax advice. You are solely responsible for the financial decisions you make based on data you enter.

You must be at least 18 years of age, or the age of majority in your jurisdiction, to create an account.

By creating an account, you represent and warrant that all information you provide is accurate and that you have the legal capacity to enter into this agreement.

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your password and for all activity that occurs under your account.

Do not share your login credentials with others. Each account is for one individual person.

Notify us immediately at jekiru.dev@gmail.com if you suspect unauthorized access to your account.

You agree to use Budqo only for lawful personal budgeting purposes.

You must not: (a) use the service for any illegal, fraudulent, or unauthorized purpose; (b) attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the service or its underlying infrastructure; (c) reverse-engineer, decompile, scrape, or systematically extract data from the service; (d) introduce malware, viruses, or other harmful code; (e) impersonate any person or entity; or (f) use the service in a way that could damage, overburden, or impair it.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, with or without notice, at our sole discretion.

The financial records you enter in Budqo belong to you. We do not claim ownership of your data.

You grant us a limited, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to store and process your data solely for the purpose of providing the service to you.

You can export or delete your data at any time from the Settings page. See our Privacy Policy for full details on how your data is handled.

We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. The service may be temporarily unavailable due to maintenance, infrastructure incidents, or circumstances beyond our control.

We strongly encourage you to use Settings → Export data to keep your own backup of your financial records. We are not liable for data loss resulting from service interruptions.

Demo accounts created via the "Try Demo" feature are ephemeral. Demo data is pre-seeded and does not represent real financial information. Demo accounts are automatically deleted when you sign out.

Do not use a demo account to store real personal or financial data.

The service is provided "as is" and "as available" without any warranty of any kind, express or implied.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable Philippine law, we disclaim all warranties including, but not limited to, implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, and non-infringement.

We do not warrant that the service will be error-free, that defects will be corrected, or that the service or the servers that make it available are free of viruses or other harmful components.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Budqo and its operator shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, revenue, data, goodwill, or other intangible losses, arising out of or relating to your use of or inability to use the service.

In any case, our total liability to you for any claim arising from or relating to these terms or the service shall not exceed the total amount you have paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim. If you have not paid us anything, our maximum liability is PHP 500.00.

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Budqo and its operator from any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses — including reasonable legal fees — arising out of or related to your violation of these terms or your use of the service.

You may close your account at any time from Settings → Delete account. Deletion is immediate and permanent.

We may suspend or terminate your access at any time for violation of these terms, for legal compliance reasons, or if the service is discontinued.

Upon termination, your right to use the service ends immediately. Provisions of these terms that by their nature should survive termination will survive.

We may update these terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by email at least 14 days before the new terms take effect. The updated terms will also be posted on this page with a revised "last updated" date.

Your continued use of the service after the effective date of any change constitutes your acceptance of the updated terms.

These terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of the Philippines, without regard to conflict of law principles.

Any dispute arising out of or relating to these terms or your use of Budqo shall first be attempted to be resolved through good-faith negotiation. If unresolved, disputes shall be submitted to the proper courts of the Philippines with jurisdiction over the matter.

These Terms of Service, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Budqo regarding the service and supersede all prior agreements and understandings.

If any provision of these terms is held to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect.
